It has been a heck of a day. I went to bed last night at about 1:00 just after Beckam has his bottle, he felt hot so I gave him some medicine…it broke his fever but for some reason he cried for 5 hours Greg and I had to tag teamed him for fear of losing patience. It was so sad his eyes were so red from all that crying. He finally went to sleep around 7:30 am and we slept until 1:00 and all the while Isaac was taking care of himself, later to find out he is sick too. What a bummer! Its all good now everyone is sleeping.
Here is the take on Desserts this week.
This is mine a pumpkin pie on a piece of China, which has significant meaning it was the only material thing that survived the fire. Its okay everyone got out of the home safely. Greg was almost 3 when he burned down the house and the China serves as a reminder of the importance of life and that material things can be replaced. And what a more perfect time to bring it out on the day of Thanks.
This is Keri’s and I love the bokeh on this it looks so yummy.
Brooke’s is so fun. I didn’t even think of this for a dessert.
Jen’s brings us into the spirit of Christmas. LOVE it!
Aimee’s makes you want more.
and I forgot some a little bokeh for this week.
I stopped by my friends blog to take a look and found her doing a project and suggested that it was a great idea for me to find some friends to do it with and instead they invited me to join…so, why not! Every week we have a topic of something to photograph and this week is candles. It was so fun to get the emails from everyone on Sunday to see the perspective on the one word for the week. These are the girls that are along on the project Brooke Beasley Photography, KeriAnn Photography, Aimee with White Daisy Photography, and Jen with Mesmerizing Moments Photography.
This is mine
This is what Beckam will be calling her. Kim offered her babysitting services to me when I was moving…how could I pass. Since then she has been cuddling and snuggling him every Tuesday. Its a win win…she gets a baby fix and I get some time to relax, edit, exercise whatever I want, the sky is the limit but I mostly edit!
This little guy won my heart. He is one of Gabe’s friends. And I come home from getting groceries and Gabe has all of his friends over and he asks “Do you need some help?” who does that at 9 years old…and he helped me bring them all in.
This is one of the many families that I came home from the session and said “I want to be more like them.” So, I came home and I told Greg that I am going to be “nice to you” and of course he made it sound like its the first time I have considered it. Anyways if you know Greg and I at all you know that we are very sarcastic. Lets say he brings up “since your nice now will you…” Its been fun.
Look at how they look at each other its genuine I love it.
My all time favorite. If I had a studio this would be super duper large.
…and another little guy that loves spider man as much as my man does…EVERYTHING spider man.
